NKVD / MGB Medical Parade Shoulder Boards

Hey all!

I wanted to show today my NKVD / MGB Parade shoulder boards for a Junior Medical Lieutenant.
Excuse the plain white background, not many good places for a backdrop.

These exhibit tarnishing/aging on the silver metallic lace, from light use or from age in general.
Interestingly enough they came with US Lend-lease buttons made in New York.

Very nice model. here are two other pairs from my collection. on the parade uniform the metallic lace is much more blackened. on the second uniform the fabric is different (silk).

Thank you for sharing these! Those are amazing uniforms and the display you have on them is amazing.
I've been looking for a double-breasted NKVD Mundir for a while, however have had no luck, so am debating on putting my boards on a regular Obr.43 Gymnasterka.

Do you have any other NKVD/MGB stuff? I'd be interested in seeing it!
