A real beauty.
a good example in great condition!
Thanks for the positive comments everyone.
The dealer who sold this to me is handling a fellow collectors estate. None of us
who knew Dick ever imagined his collection was so large - all neatly packed
away in closets and cardboard boxes - many antique pistols, rifles,
swords, badges, medals, etc.
He was in his late 70's. I did not know him all that well, but was fortunate
to have helped Dick in small ways over the past 10 years or so by
authenticating a few items for him, but sadly, he passed away
several months ago of cancer. It's a shame to see all his
treasures being split up.
One day our own collections will be divided, shared, or sold off too,
and it reminds me of how very short our time is
here on this earth.........
Regards,
Steve.
