German Verwundetenabzeichen badge real or fake?

Good evening all! I have acquired this black wound badge and I am curious why this badge appears to differ from the others in my collection. This badge appears to have a different style of helmet and seems to have a different overall shape to it. I would be very great full for any knowledge thank you!

This is the 1st type/pattern wound badge. Also refferred to as the "Legion Condor" type. To my knowledge these were issued between 1936-1939. It has a WW1 helmet instead of the typical WW2 "Stahlhelm". And it looks like an original example to me atleast!

Nice first pattern silver Wound Badge, these where still issued in the early war years until supplies where used up. But where designed for Spanish War use, only 182 black and one silver being awarded during the conflict. Welcome to the forum.
