Verwundeten abzeichen 107 carl wild

Hello everyone,

I have a chance to buy this wound badge in gold produced by carl wild 107. I am only uncertain over the way the plate of the catch is attached.
It is the more common variant of the zinc 107 badges but it has a nice amount of finish left. De bubbling on the back of the badge does speak for the finish being original.
Its just the catch. Normally you see a more pronounced square plate here. I do miss that on this badge.
so any opinions would be much appreciated. Since in want to be 100% certain not 90%

I can understand your concerns, however i still believe it is a good badge.
Compare to mine:

Also notice the horizontal lines on the maker mark and the identical hinge setup.

If you decide not to purchase please let me know as i am looking to complete my Carl Wild wound badge set. I have black and silver.

That silver one of yours is a beauty. I also have a silver one but with only 50% finish left.
Thank you for your reply, i do want to buy the badge.
But if i will ever choose to let him go i will give you first chance, which is just fair i think.
