    Hey everyone!

I know I'm new to this forum, but I have an opportunity to buy this gold Verwundetenabzeichen in my own hometown, so I people can confirm that this one is real?
I looked up some references on the forum, but I want to be 100% sure on this one.

Here's my 'unmarked 30' example for comparison.

Looks like a Hauptmünzamt Wien design to me when i look at the pin, cause of the curve. But I'm in no way experienced with the verwundetenabziechen badges.

I think it's the Hauptmunzampt Wien at 99.99%

It is not an unmarked "30".
If you notice, there is an extra berry beside the right sword handle. There were a limited number of makers that produced these, one of these is referred to as "Deschler/Wiedmann" examples.
    Most likely Wiedmann.

Definitely not Deschler/Wiedmann. Totally different helmet and bow design. See the following links:

Good call Brett! Still not sure if this is a Hauptmunzampt Wien now cause of the little dot at the bottom right.

But is safe to say this is an original badge?

Most people never do and would be content to label this a HMA Wien piece. It is this kind of thing that makes the hobby (I still really dislike calling it a hobby!!) so fascinating
