Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 Gold, maker L/53
Hi Guys,
Here is another VWA gold badge I just got
It´s a L/53 (Hymmen und co) in zinc.
It looks better in hand, even though most of the gold has vanished at the front
My question is : Whats the rarety of this maker in the VWA section ??
I´ve read somewhere that for Hymmen and co, the making of medals was somewhat of a side show, which is why they are not so common. Can anybody verify that or........??

It's original, the badge is reasonably scarce and the condition is fairly typical for mid to late war badges by this maker. The set up is fairly standard, although Hymmen are known for using a variety of hardware on their badges of the period.
