Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Gold, Wilhelm Deumer

Another item that I was able to pick up at the gun show recently.
From information that I was able to gain thanks to Thomas Durante, this is the first type of wound badge produced by Wilhelm Deumer, before the LDO was introduced, hence, it is unmarked.
These are very uncommon to find, I was just lucky that day.

I should have bought badges at the MAX show. Tom's table was right next to ours, so the master reference was only a few feet away.

As you know, I posted it on WAF as I was unsure of the maker due to no markings on the reverse.
Many thanks to Tom for the insight. Apparently, these are difficult to find.
I am glad that I was able to find one in this condition as the photos really don't do the finish justice.
Also, Deumer is one of my favorite makers. I currently have no less than 11 different wound badges by this maker.
