I'm always happy to help a fellow member, especially a new collector, but also expect you do your own research using the tools provided here...We have a section entirely dedicated to Verwundetenabzeichen, and I recommend you familiarize yourself with the badges you intend to collect/buy...
cheers, Glenn
Also, a bit more of a friendly intro may help your cause. There's no harm in being polite. Stewy
unfortunately i dont know how to separate fake from real, even with research. They all look similar to me. As you see i am posting a lot of items for ID from my Grandfather collection, about 300 pieces of different wwii items. Thanks to your help, i am making a great progress and learning meanwhile.
Better cloes up pictures also help.. Straight on and non neck breaking. Anyone can put a MM ( Makers Mark) on an item.
The truth lies within known construction methods and look including MM. Good hunting... G
