Hello, I think this is an unmarked 30's. But what I see is original
There appears to be a stamp on the pin, and a tool mark that should be identifiable.
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
I agree that it looks like an unmarked '30' but the pictures are too blurred to be sure about this one.
Is it tombak? I see what appear to be surface inconsistencies on the reverse that would bother me especially if it is tombak which should be reall rather smooth.
Better pics need for sure.
Regards
Mark

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
I believe that this is not a stamp on the needle Ralph but a mark or recess. I could also post my unmarked 30s tomorrow
Hello here as a comparison
Yes, that's right, I see it, then it could be an unmarked 65 maybe.
Totally wrong hardware for a 30 of any description. Going by what I can see of the catch in these crappy photos, and certain aspects of the obverse of the badge, we could be looking at Steinhauer and Luck.
Regards
Brett
