Hello, is this from the manufacturer Deschler? It has no lower plate soldered on, I mean.
Is it correct that the semi-hollow version is less common? ...

yes, thank you, I have read this post ............. If I understood it correctly, would it be a Deschler / Wiedmann variant with a plate soldered onto it? This piece does not have a soldered plate

Have another look at the design of the badge you posted and the design of the badges in the link. Like chalk and cheese! What makes you think that it is Deschler?
