Proving that this wound badge was awarded to anyone wounded during the Spanish civil war would be nigh on impossible without bullet prove provenance but it is of course a Nazi period 1st pattern wound badge, Regards Paul

These wound badges are really 1st patterns, to call them Legion Condor is misleading. Most of these were awarded in the 1939-41 time period.

I prefer the term 1936/39 Pattern, but First Pattern also works, I've read these where still being issued in 1942
