    Hello

    My dad picked my up a silver wounded badge from a car boot the other day and it's maker marked 30 but the mark is stamped I'n the middle of the badge or maby slighty more towards the bottom but all the other 30's I've seen are raised and an the bottom above the pin catch ...

    Pics will tell, but the middle is OK.

    See this gold one from my collection. Early high quality Tombak badge, just a shame about the pin.

    Mine looks the same but silver ! Why so they have a circle pattern on the back ?

    I thought the circle marks were from machining of the reverse?

    Hi Glenn, either machining marks to the back or machining marks to the die. Either way, it is one of their traits.

    Thanks for the info ade ! There is no point me wasting forum space with pics as there so blurry you cannot see any detaile at all ! You can barley see the badge i would if i could ...

    All my awards from Germany are here but i will only post pics of my guns ...
