I added my first boxed wound badge and silver was a bonus. Maker marked 65 for Klein & Quenzer AG. I believe it to be a good one comparing it to others and was under $100 US. Condition of the badge is good but the box, not so much. Maybe why it was below $100. I also believe the box to be original to the badge. No provenance with it. All thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I am not used to seeing the maker's mark with such sharp edges.
    Compare with mine.

Thank you Ralph. I did not pick up that detail before. I am guessing the wear on the dies over time causes that. All the other details point to original but I have been wrong more times than right.

Hi John, not really the type of change I would expect from wear.
Wait for other opinions, I don't think there is a fake of this badge yet.

There is always a first. Sad if it were mine even after doing research. I could better understand if I bought on a wing and a prayer.

Everything else on this one looks fine to me, I have just never seen the maker's mark like this.
