    Second one has the same hinge but a catch mounted on a big plate typical catch often seen on wiedmann badge's

    Last one is a heavy tomback silver piece also with the "Lilly Pad" set-up. These wound badge are also larger then normaly seen

    Good idea for a thread Wim! I hope we'll see some more examples posted and we will have a very useful visual reference.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    And what indicates this one as a Wiedmann/Deschler design?
    I do not see a lily pad hinge plate or a round catch plate.

    Hello Ralph,

    the disign of the badge , only the pin setup is different. Right?
    Or are tehere other makers with this front disign?
