These were/are common GTAs (Graphic Training aids) that have been issued for decades.. I have several hundred that I used while an Infantryman.. There are GTAs for just about every single job/task that Soldier's had to master. These cards were very helpful in ensuring that missions were accomplished successfully. 9 Line medevac procedures, troop leading procedures, how to conduct an Operations Order, send a radio message, NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) info cards, mine field cards, heat and cold weather injury cards, you name it, we had it..

I carried a leaders notebook in the field and most of these cards were carried in my map case. They were handy and when I tasked one of my squad leaders to conduct field training I would offer these for them to use. I would rather see a Soldier reading one of these and getting all the procedures correct than trying to BS their way through training and not be accurate.

They still have these GTAs today and are still used..

I would imagine these cards are similar to the cards issued today for the Junior NCOs as well as Senior NCOs. The steps and procedures may have been updated and modified a bit but I would say a very strong YES that these GTAs are similar..
