Focusing here really on the JG shirt. This is the 2nd NZ design used in Vietnam and shows some features borrowed from the US Army OG-107 cotton combat coat. Most obvious change from earlier NZ JG shirt is the angled breast pocket flaps and addition of pockets on upper arm. The Jungle Green is a different shade to OG-107 a little lighter, though the shirt here has some field use fading.
Maker K.Hager & Company of Levin was a clothing manufacturer established in 1956, Karl Kager came to New Zealand with his parents in 1939 leaving Austria to escape the Nazis.
I've added a photo of men from 2 Platoon Victor 6 Company, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, circa 1968 in Vietnam. Note the man standing at the right and man sitting front left are both wearing this same 2nd pattern shirt. Others wear the earlier shirt.
