U.S 1972 Helmet Late Vietnam or post war ?

Hello my Friends, another U.S Helmet, I love the look but real Vietnam Helmet or post war ? All is dated DSA 1972 just the heavy helmet in dated 1971...interior looks combat and salty leather and other...1973 is the last year for U.S army in Vietnam...I dont know if the black whriten on camo helmet is original or after...Opinion are welcome ! thank you !!!

Helmet looks good. It would be nearly impossible to tell if it actually went to Vietnam especially at that late date. I don’t like the graffiti doesn’t make sense to me. And what I guess is supposed to be a peace sign is more like a Mercedes emblem.

Thank you for your reply ! Yes seems to be salty for last war...used after war maybe ? I am not confortable with graffiti but not expert ! ps : Mercedes is great ! lol

Do you have any clearer pictures of the name, or what is the full name on the sweatband?
