Is there any provenance? With the exception of the helmet, it all looks in mint condition. A lot of Vietnam items of clothing and equipment continued to be made after the Vietnam war. This picked up from the 1990's when tourists turned up in VN looking for souvenirs. Clever traders produced what they didn't have. So while the items may well have been made in Vietnam, unless you have provenance from a veteran who brought it home, giving the label as a "Viet Cong" piece or Vietnam war piece is a bit of a stretch. The helmets have also been in production for decades after the VN war and probably still are. My advice would be unless there is cast iron provenance, treat as post VN war and price accordingly.
Not sharp on these but to me they all look pretty new to me! Climate!
You are right about the climate mate. I lived in Thailand for some years and cotton shirts rotted in the humidity after a couple of years and the ants would get into your wardrobe and nip holes in the rest.
Many thanks ! Anderson, your explication is just...Great ! impossible to dated these civil stuff...
