These are definitely an original North Vietnamese Army uniform. This would be a post war example from the late 70s, early 80s. The war time examples have very thin straps on the shoulders for the epaulettes, or no straps at all. The early reed green examples were supplied by communist China. I have a few examples of the shirt I can post tomorrow to illustrate the difference. I hope that helps a little.

A great THANKS Vic !
I got so wrapped up over the weekend, I almost forgot to post these. The top one is a late war Vietnamese produced shirt in a light weight cotton. The next is a Chinese produced shirt in a heavier cotton chino type material and the third is a Vietnamese made officers shirt. It has epaulets sewn directly to the shirt, just for fashion and not rank. It also has a small tag in the neck that indicates what factory produced it.
