Vietnam Service Medal

I thought this was a pretty cool set. The American Vietnam service medal. Everything is here from what I can tell including the original Paper wrapping around the medal in the box

I don’t own much US medals so this is nice to have. Thinking about getting more in the future for sure!

The inscription on the side of the box states
8455-926-1664
MEDAL SET, VIETNAM SERVICE
(CONSISTING OF PENDANT, SERVICE RIBBON WITH CLIP AND BAR)
1 EA DSA 100-69-C-100
E.&.H. SIMON INC NEW YORK, N.Y.

So this tells us the year it was made (1969) and who made the medal set.

Boxed medal sets like this are a good way to keep/store medals..

This is a good pickup.. Many Soldiers when they received their medals would throw away the boxes...
