Moin moin, you lucky dog! Where were you - Buchholz?
Great piece, which is not found every day !
Bye Thomas
A very unusual and I think a very rare design of the RFB Gürtelschließe. Super ! Another one for your collection koppel71 and what a great way to have found it.

David
Sehr schone Schnalle Koppel. Die faust wurde von der burgerrechtsbewegung der 1960er Jahre in den USA als eine macht zeichen angenommen. Ich habe nie gesehen, dass das design vor.

I'm sorry Ben, I had responded to one of his threads in English before and I didn't know if he translated it or not. That was my first and last time to do that. Won't happen again.

Hello Jay
No need to apologise.
Both Ben and I know koppel71 and as you know, this forum member has a fantastic and varied collection. Unfortunately, a chap with a limited command of the English language and koppel71 acknowledges this fact of life with anticipated grace and good humour.
It is of course important to maintain and in this case koppel71 actively within the discussion (in German) and many others (in English). Ben I think was suggesting a bilingual response on your part - German and English.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
David
Thanks, David, I'm alittle slow sometimes. I've got it now. I definitely understand the logic of using both. I have alot of respect for Koppel. I know from experience how frustrating it can be trying to communicate in something other than your primary language. I had written in the previous thread, how strange it was that the raised fist, like on the buckle, was to become a symbol of the civil rights movement in the US during the 1960's.
Take care,
Jay
