An interesting buckle and a design that I have seen before. The buckle is known to exist in 45mm size and also with a nickle silver box supporting a brass roundel. Although the boxes do appear to be pre 1945, the emblem does not. In my opinion, a post war "political revival" movement of some sort and I do not think that there is any connection whatsoever with SCHARNHORST-BUND DEUTSCHER JUNGMANNEN.

Just my opinion that I am unable to support.

    Regards,

    David
