“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Here is a Weimar Zollbeamte visor that is on Ebay right now (and incorrectly listed as Justice)--note the eagle:

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
A phenomenal "crusher" early Erel for Customs. Unfortunately, it was misidentified as Imperial Guard Schutzen, and I was outbid:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Weimar Zollbeamte:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”

“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Never saw this type of wreath before:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
It's the official Reichskokarde as from 1922 for customs.
It is shown in the first dress-regulation after WWI. It was in use into the early 1930's.
The cockade in top is for Saxonia.
The green-white cockade from post 4 is not an official state-cockade. And that is what
should be positioned there! As is for post 2. Post 3 is the cockade for Prussia, which is
correct.
Close-up from wearing. More of these will come in volume 6 for "Headgear of Hitler's Germany"
from Bender Publishing, which at this moment is in the stage of writing.

Wim, I am looking forward to your book--volumes 1-5 are the most-utilized tomes in my entire reference library.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Another from Prussia:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
M-22 Zoll (missing cockade) by Mohr & Speyer:
