904/M37 portugese mauser,.i intend to turn this beauty into a sniper rifle,all matching stock & block,a recent purchase.is my second portugese mauser,.(other portugese rifle is a K98K) will attatch a pic,.am yet to shoot it,& clean the cosmoline out of it., am very happy to have found this.,here are some pics,.

You do see a few of the 7.92mm conversion Mauser Vergueiros here for some reason-only Portuguese weapon in my collection is this 6.5mm 1904 MV probably ex South African WW1-well made, elegant rifle!

Congratulations, Friend...When I was a kid in Germany my mother bought me a deactivated Spanish Mauser, dated 1953 Coruna Arsenal...It looked very much like your Portuguese Mauser, including the Straight Bolt...
That Portuguese K98 is a Beauty as well - And a First for my eyes - Thanks for showing!
I now own a functional 7mm Mauser -M95- Carbine/Short Rifle, produced by Ludwig Loewe, Berlin for export to Chile, featuring a Turn-Down Bolt...
