I can't afford one of those pre 45 trainers with the prices they bring now, but I have a postwar Heym single shot based on the Mauser layout, pretty much. That thing is a target grade shooter. Even with the Mauser type sights, it can shoot very tiny groups from the bench, with target grade ammunition. As good as a heavy target rifle I also own. Therefore the handier Heym will stay and the very heavy target gun is going.
