Canvas Gun Case..Sniper Rifle ?

This British 1943 dated case easily takes a scoped rifle,but would they have used a soft case for a sniper rifle ?

Not used for the No.4T scoped rifle to the best of my knowledge.

Looks like the standard pattern to me. Some do have a pouch on the side though.

I think they came in wooden boxes?

Been trying to find one of those for a number of years now, but most are knock ups

Needs to be a section one though, can't get used to de-acts
