Default Colt 1911 Rig to share

I picked up my first WW1 era rig. Pretty nice but still able to upgrade if another comes along. It is a 1914 dated frame by serial number with a 1918 period slide. I am not sure if the hammer was replaced at the time of the slide and not sure if correct hammer for a 1914 or 1918. I do not know when this was done as the previous owner has had it unchanged for 20 years. I am hoping by arsenal VS person prior to WW1 issue, but will never know for sure. They match by finish (brush blue) very well look like they have been together for a long time. The two lanyard loop mags are correct for colt 1914 gun. The holster, belt and mag pouch would be tough to upgrade. All thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Sure looks like a nice example rescue. Nice having an early one. Very likely an arsenal job concerning the slide I would think. Great firearm from the past you have there.
