Degtyarev DP 28

Article about: I just got my DP 28 today. I can't wait to get it to the range and warm it up. I would be interested in any words of advise from anyone who has one. Looking forward to your comments.

I know this is responding to a very old post, but I came here looking for some info on the DTM variant of the DP-28. I own a Wiselite arms semi-auto only version of the DP-28, I would imagine it's the same as yours. I love mine, it's ran very well for me:

I have a pile of pan magazines for it, and few different metal and fabric pan holders as well. I just came across a good supply of DTM 63 round magazines, as well as the correct front site and front bipod for the dismounted variant of the DT/DTM. Perhaps I can find a rear site, and if I were very lucky, the correct rear stock and lower grip for the DT/DTM. I've found one deact. gun in Canada, but can't import it. Seems silly I can own a fully firing version of the gun, but can't import a deactivated gun!

Anyhow, looks like a great forum, I love collecting WWII artifacts, especially functional weapons. I look forward to learn and posting here.
