Hello I wonder about date of production (month) of MP 44 serie ab dated 1945. Can someone tell me more about months of production based at series ? Or from which numbers ? Thanks all

Unfortunately, due to destruction of records amid the confusion of early 1945 it may not be possible to exactly date this weapon. Indeed, due to the chaotic situation it isn't even known for sure how many MP44s were made in April/May 1945. Claus Espeholt has been building his website for many years and it's the most comprehensive MP44 information that I know of.
