A very nice waffenamt marked piece. I read that some where near 100,000 were put into Germany service. I love HP models but do not own one yet. They are very comfortable to shoot

    Nice Find Mart!!

Thanks Phil. I have fired a box and a half through it and it functioned flawlessly.

This would be an Occupation model - 640(b) - and appears
to have been made in 1943.........

    Hey Steve,
So do you have a secret database you would be so kind to share?

I tried to see if I could trace that serial number but couldn't find a source.

Based on thoughts from my own Occupation model, and a rough idea from

Nice gun. Thanks for posting. Walkwolf is correct on 1943 manufacture. The new serial number system started in 1943 with the letter a at the end of the serial number. 1944 would have letter b.
