Default GI Walther factory put together P38 brought back

This ac45 is one of the pistols put together for GIs ,either by them or by factory workers still in the Walther plant.Slide, frame and barrel are all different numbers in the c block.Small parts are a mix of blued and phosphate finish.Pistol has a "cog" hammer and black shiney grips.Back in the day ,collectors thought the cog hammers were only used on later CYQs,and the black shiney grips only on late Mausers. Now we know Walther got some of these grips and hammers late in the war.

    I like it..

Similar to the parts daggers that were put together I imagine..

I wouldn't mind having one of these, even if it is a put together..

Very nice TC. All of the 45 C & D blocks are all mismatched. Put together by factory workers. Nice find and part of the P38 collection. Congrats!
