I really enjoy seeing the classic firearms posted. I have seen a few lately and really enjoyed them. I would like to see more so I thought if I post another one of mine we might get more on the forum.

This is my early Inland 241xxx serial number Barrel date 12 of 1942. Probably issued around February 1943. Has the I cut stock and everything is correct. Very nice condition.

Let me know what you think. And hopefully post yours.

    Thanks Tim

Tim, that’s a beautiful carbine. The ones I have have all went through a rebuild. I would love to find one like yours that I could afford LOL.

Thanks sir. I have been collecting carbines for 20 plus years but only have 3 in my collection. Does take time.

    They are really fun too.

I agree with Tank Destroyer, it is a great gun and you almost never see them in original condition. I saw M1 Carbines still in use with the Colombian military when I vistited there in 1992. They don't wear out, they just keep getting rebuilt. Are the three in yur collection all in original condition? That would be amazing!
