I have an American made model.
I love it it is one of the best long arms I have ever owned.
Hi, Lithgo:
On a personal note, I was issued with a Long Branch No.4 in the British Army in the 1950s. In my opinion it was the best of all the No.4s. Despite a well-used bore, it was a good accurate shooter. Wish I still had it.
Nice collection of bayonets.
Cheers,
Pat

Gents....this particular make (Long Branch) of Lee Enfield was used by the fledgling Bundeswehr in 1955 until the introduction of the FN G1 ! donated by the British Army....The Garand and the K98 were also used.
