Maxim 1910

Haven't posted in a while, but recently I got my hands on a 1939 dated Tula PM 1910.


It came with a box of goodies!



The contents, of the aforementioned box. Three boxes with ammo-belts (sadly steel belts, on the hunt for some cloth ones), and one box with the oil, anti-freeze and solvent cans.







Came with a fair bit of literature too, as well as a tool-pouch with all the goodies contained therein.



And finally, the gun itself.

Rather tempted to throw together a reenactment get-up for a gunner now. Any advice?
It's also going to act as a stunt double for a Vickers firing out of a bunker.

They are fairly clunky. At least you don't have to worry about storing it in a gunsafe.

Yeah I presumed it was live.. none of that in the UK all deact's but I don't mind..It is what you are used too!!. But still a very nice looking weapon.. Cheers Terry.

I have a Snow Cap 1910 .The only problem I have is whenever I take it out everyone wants to shoot it. At first I'd use a full belt and the folks would forget to release the trigger. So now I use a thirty round cheater belt to kept that from happening. Stock up on 7.62X54R. The 1910's only stop firing when the belt is empty. Good luck with yours it's in great condition.
