I may be a limey, but the 30-30 Win. has served me well as a saddle gun when i was in Montana/Wyoming in the late 90's early 00's. Very pointable and very accurate up to medium ranges, but drops off after that. Had fun blatting Rockchucks with one, and , better still, coyotes chased by the cattle dogs when on a drive through high country in the Pryor mountains. The boss had a Buffalo Bill limited edition(i can't remember if it was 1 of 500, or 1 of 1000) and he'd inhereted it off his Dad in the 70's and had never fired a single round, a beauty!!

Anyway, thanks for the memories, a great piece!!
