Odd MK2 Bren Gun Markings
Hi,
Greetings from England.
I have got a deactivated 1944 M67 Monotype Bren gun. The marking on the upper receiver is rather puzzling. Most if not all Bren guns I’ve seen are marked with BREN MK I or MK II, my gun seems to be the only one that is marked with BREN Mk 2, a numeric 2 instead of letters. I have seen MK3 with numeric 3. Is this normal (but rather uncommon) or is there something not quite right here? I would love to hear what others think. Thank you.
BR,
Charlie

"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
