Excellent looking example Steve!
I have the bayonet for that model but own the K31 rifle version.
The actions are slicker than snot!
Very accurate.

I guess I struck a nerve? didn't mean to just making a statement. I know what is meant by junk on this side of the pond.
There seems to have been a load of these coming onto the UK market at very reasonable prices. Does anyone know where this stock originates, is it the Swiss govt selling surplus (very old) stock, or via a large weapons dealer offloading stock?
Always curious about these kinds of background details...
I would imagine that perhaps one major arms dealer purchased them from the Swiss government in bulk, and with them being so old, it would have been at scrap value. There would have been no interest from third world governments wishing to arm their militias when there is such an abundance of automatic weapons. The dealer would then sell on smaller consignments to interested parties around the world. It is worth remembering that these rifles were never used in combat, so the survival rate would have been extremely high - and in good working order too!
Agreed, very likely scenario
