SVW45 P.38 find with '41 date holster...

I picked this up this nice "e" block SVW45 recently. It came with a well worn "gxy 1941" holster. She's all matching with a pristine bore and an un-WaA'd mag with grooved follower. The brown grips are late war AEG and are correct though seldom seen , the black polyamid being predominate . Here are some pics.

An svw45 is misunderstood by some and highly desirable by others. Having one without the star is a great find. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

My understanding of these, is they were made post war by the Occupying French.

Marty what does the star you mentioned mean?

They were made in 1945 svw was the new code for Mauser and when the French took control they placed a star on the frame. The pistols were made war time in limited quality, which makes them very desirable in my opinion.
