    I found this in a bunch of stuff I inherited and I am curious to know what kind of holster it is. My 1911 fits in it perfectly and they shell holder looks like it was attached to later on and not part of the original holster.     I guess it is a converted Ballester Molina holster from Argentina.

    I think the holster does not have any military connection and was produced for the civilian market. Could even be a custom, one off, made holster. I could not find anything similar.

    Hi,
    Probably made for a semi automatic pistol.
    So why provision for ammo's like revolver's ones.
    I would expect a case for an extra magazine.
