Chin strap for helmet M53 Bundesgrenzschutz original or replica?

Is this "Sturmriemen", (chin strap), attached to a Bundesgrenzschutz / Federal Border Guard M53 helmet, (with ventilation holes and rough camouflage), an original, an legit one, or a replica?

Can i ask what made you suspect this chinstrap might be a reproduction in the first place Reibert ,i am sure my example has a two tone tan and black chinstrap and the thought of it being a repro just never crossed my mind , the previous owner from whom i picked it up from it is very knowledgeable in this field so believe wouldn't of passed on an item that wasn't 100% legit ,the wide net was something i added for display purposes later on

The chin strap is stamped with an Rb.-number (possibly even just "upgraded"), which colleague Sleepwalker has already read in a thread in a German-speaking forum and, therefore, now also has his opinion on it.
