Great helmet
I can see your 1958 model also have blackened copper alloy (brass) for all the metal on the shell chinstrap. I just check the 58 & 59 Danish LS shells and they too have blackened brass, as well as the 1962 model (there is no 60-61 Danish model). I guess only the 1957 uses steel - which could be another pointer that 1957 is the first run of LS m1 clone shells.
