does anyone know what this helmet is

ive had this helmet for a few years picked it up off a carboot sale but i havent got a clue what it is or where its from does anyone here know what it is. its made from fibre very similar to what the american ww2 liners were made from and has a paper lable inside which reads,
CASCA PROTECTIE
TIP P.C.I
N.I.2996-64
and what looks like a date stamp 1965
also you can see the outline of a badge on the front (looks like a flameing grenade)
any help is most welcome

looks like a european Fireman's helmet

Casca Protectie = Helmet Protective

the flaming bomb is often used by countries like France

Hello Lee,

Casca is Romanian for helmet.

I have seen these before. Romanian post war Fire Brigade to my mind.

hi thanks for the replies ive had a message off another member aswell and he too said its romanian fire brigade.
i had a feeling that it might be a fire helmet its similar to our old helmets in britain. thanks again
