helmet ID? French?

Hello all,

I saw this helmet for sale, advertised as an old motorcycle helmet. But I was wondering, maybe this could be a french tanker helmet? (The helmet is not in my possession, so these are the only pictures).
I have no knowledge about french wwII tanker helmets, so your input is appreciated.

Looks like a French Police motorcyclist outrider type .. as seen in "The Day of the Jackal"

Hi Jakke,

The helmet you show is a classic 'Geno Pudding Bowl' racing helmet of the 1950's. It was made in France for motorcycle racing and is now very collectable. The one you show appears to be in pretty fair condition, and as such is worth between 100-120 Pounds Sterling.
