Article about: Dusted off a few helmets recently and thought i would start a thread showing a few of my Groupings and will add more as time goes on and seeing as my favorite collecting genre is the cold wa

    Slovenian oak leaf camo ,according to camopedia there was a brief period where Bulgarian splinter pattern was worn and i see similarities with the colour schemes Helmets and Camo coversHelmets and Camo coversHelmets and Camo covers

    I think one (the threadbare skanky one) is an OR's and the other (hardly worn and tidy) is an officers but not sure if it makes that much difference!

    Very nice Mark especially with the Eagle badges intact ,Thanks for sharing as I'm not familiar with the Green example's that were issued but more so the Black beret's which seem to be the most common on the surplus market

    I know this is getting off topic but to respond to the above; The black berets were worn by the Police and Regular Army. The green was worn by Commandos or "Thunder Troops" (airborne) so special forces if you accept the term as relative and don't equate them to US Navy Seals, British SAS, German KSK, Russian Spetznaz etc.
