Helmets and Camo covers

As we are on the subject of Croatian helmets i might as well add this one to my thread which is this aggressor helmet bring back from the current war in Ukraine and identified as manufactured by Sestan Busch known as the BK ACH model ,this one has seen some harsh damage from a non penetrating crushing force coupled with close proximity to heat with most of the comfort pads missing and the chinstrap cup section also.
As camouflage goes this thought provoking piece only retains a very small section of OD scrim remnant tied to the remaining retention bungee

Following the innovative computer designed Canadian camouflage pattern CADPAT in 1996, the United States Marines took the same path to create & adopt their new camo design in 2001. Seen on this reversible helmet cover are the woodland & desert patterns.

Let's start with a view of the Canadian CADPAT Temperate Weight (TW).

Here is another interesting Russian helmet cover. Displayed on a ZSH-1-2M. The cover is the "Лес" aka Les or Forest camo. It is very similar to the U.S. M81, although it is produced in Russia and with a different color scheme.







There is no drawstring and it is connected to the helmet via a loose elastic band.



The only stamp or marking on the cover is the OTK stamp of approval or "Отдел технического контроля"-Department of Technical Control.



It is a very heavy helmet, even without the visor it weighs in at 6.2 Lbs or 2.8 Kgs!

Unfortunately, I was unable to find a reference photo. This camo scheme is primarily used by MVD Internal Troops & GRU Spetsnaz units-Source Camopedia.
