Italian M33 ww2 helmet ?

Anyone knows if it is a Italian M33 ww2 helmet ? I saw it in a modern used clothes shop. It was on the showcase of the store (maybe it is a collector and if i talk with the owner, she/he could sale it to me). I don't know why the paint is light gray. If you could identify the other items also, i would appreciate it.I give you a topic below the images.

Hello Roarke,

To definitely identify this helmet, you should show chinstrap and liner as well. The Italian M33 helmet shell stayed basicly identical during the years of it's use from 1933 till about the nineties. A web strap indicates post war use.

But, then again, for british for example, web straps were used in war, so it seems, like in the link below. And of course if the helmet shell is the only thing that remained, then there is a problem. Thanks, and for the other items in the photos maybe someone will know.

Hi Roarke,

The canteen is Italian as well. The aluminum body is ribbed I believe. But whether it is WW2 or post war I do not know. The beret has an badge with a star. That indicates Italian as well, but post war, I think.
