Here is my Italian UNPA steel "Adrian" style helmet.
UNPA = Unione Nazionale Protezione Antiarea = national union for anti-aircraft protection
Done a bit of research but some of it is conflicting.
The helmet appears to be the typical 3 piece French "Adrian" style instead of the Italian M15/16 single stamped shell.
Have read that in many cases for the UNPA helmets they used purchase French Adrians as well as the M15/16 and even the French M26 so there was really no standard. Check out the spot welds on the UNPA emblem.
Anyone see this before. I think these are pretty hard to come by (but not nesessarily expensive).
