M1 (clone) helmet United Nations

Hi everyone,

In my collection I have this UN M1 type helmet. I don't know if it is an American M1 of a clone from some other country. The shell doesn't have any markings or heat stamp. I know it is not a European clone But maybe it is an Asian or South American clone. The liner is an American firestone liner for sure. On the liner is the name A. Limpin. Can sombody help me to identify the type of the shell?

very atypical combination.

As written, the liner is from US production. This liner model was produced from 1972. Of course, an export delivery can never be ruled out.

The metal parts of the chin strap clearly indicate a European production.

I think the shell is a product from the Austrian company Ulbrichts Witwe (Ulbricht's Widow). This company also exported to some countries.
