M1 Liner West-German Nuremberg city police 1969

Not a steel helmet, I know, but I would like to introduce at least special liners here. No other category seems appropriate.
These are American M1 Liners, which were only used by the Nuremberg city police for a short time in 1969. Both helmets come from police-related sources.
They were purchased in 1969 as "Einsatzhelm, vorläufig" - “operational helmet, provisional” for Riots and exchanged for M1969 protective helmets in the same year.
The liners must have been procured via the US armed forces in Nuremberg or the surrounding area.
They were sprayed white on the outside and had the black lettering "Polizei" - “Police” on them. Nothing else was changed.
The first liner is a more used example of Pattern 1956. The second is a new Pattern 1964 from 1964.
