Hi Bavarian,
I think the batch number, even if it seems BRM could actually be SRM; in this case it would be a known production of M33 for the Navy, made in the 30s:
S (unknown producer) -RM (Regia Marina).
The shell, the air vents and the liner structure are from the WW2 period; while the leather of the liner, the chinstrap and the color of the shell certainly are not.
It could be one of the refurbs made in the naval arsenals after the war, but the photos of the interior are not clear enough to verify this; however, the glossy green color is quite unusual.
